Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

  1. Introduction

Fnon Al-Rafidayn Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice.

The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The editorial board will investigate any reported ethical concerns and take appropriate action in accordance with COPE guidelines.

  1. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to:

  • Submit original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere
  • Ensure proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources
  • Avoid plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data
  • Clearly indicate all contributing authors and their affiliations
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest
  • Notify the journal promptly of any significant errors discovered after publication
  1. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback
  • Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript
  • Avoid conflicts of interest and declare any potential conflicts
  • Identify relevant published work that has not been cited
  • Report any suspected ethical misconduct
  1. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

  • Making publication decisions based on academic merit and relevance
  • Ensuring a fair and unbiased peer review process
  • Maintaining confidentiality of submissions
  • Addressing ethical issues and misconduct appropriately
  • Avoiding conflicts of interest
  1. Plagiarism and Misconduct

All manuscripts are screened using iThenticate.

Any form of plagiarism, duplication, or unethical behavior will result in rejection or further investigation.

  1. Conflict of Interest

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that may influence their work.

  1. Data Integrity

Authors must ensure that data presented in their research is accurate and has not been manipulated.

  1. Corrections and Retractions

The journal will issue corrections or retractions when necessary to maintain the integrity of the academic record.
