الملخص
The place holds great significance in the realization of any theatrical performance and studying it and understanding its characteristics enables the director to comprehend its dimensions and gain the ability to interact with its creation. The researcher has taken upon themselves the task of investigating the evolution of space in theater, culminating in the Theater of Cruelty, which, from the researcher's perspective, represents a transformative shift in global theater. It was influenced by its predecessors and emerged to significantly impact subsequent movements, owing to the ideas and theories introduced by the director Antonin Artaud. Artaud sought to revolutionize the form and structure of theater and human reality in general. Therefore, the researcher conducted a study titled "Spatial Construction in the Performances of the Theater of Cruelty: The Play 'Ice' as a Model."`
