ان مصطلح المقاربة والتقارب يعني الاقتراب والدنو ومجاورة الاشياء اما في الفنون فالمصطلح يشير الى التقارب في اسلوبية التعبير عن المنجز الفني لفنان ما بطريقة مقاربة لاسلوب فنان اخر في طرح الافكار والرؤى في منظومة العمل الفني ولاسيما ان الفنان نابع من مجتمع يتحدد بعوامل عديدة منها التاريخية والحضارية والثقافية والدينية بحيث كانت هذه العوامل تشكل مرجعيات ضاغطة في فكر الفنان تظهر في بنية العمل الفني ولكن هناك جانب اخر ظهر فيها الاختلاف الواضح في عملية انجاز الاعمال الفنية من قبل الفنانيين يختلف من فنان الى اخر رغم وجود نفس المرجعيات الضاغطة في فكر الفنان، وتكمن مشكلة البحث بالتساؤل التالي: ماهي الالية التي اتبعها كلا الخزافيين في اشتغالاتهما التي ادت الى تقارب في اشكال خزفياتهما؟
