Abstract

The research dealt with the subject of the symbolic reference to Islamic miniature art and its representations in contemporary digital design in its various styles, whether of contemporary diversity, architecture, inscriptions, artistic paintings, Islamic photography, and other various arts in Islam.


The first chapter contained the research, its importance, the nature of its goals, its limits, and the definition of its terminology, as the research requires a question and determines its operation through the symbol, how much it has given civilization and how much aesthetic, creative, and original value it has, a mental and renewable product, whether the elements or writing could be a problem or findings, and it reached this significance with its renewed and interactive concept. With the contemporary researcher to address the research problem through the following question:


What are the symbolic data of Islamic miniature art and how are they represented in contemporary digital art?


The current research aims to reveal the symbolic data and their representations in contemporary digital art. The second chapter included the theoretical framework of the research, which examined the symbol and its connotations in Islamic thought as a philosophical reading. The second section dealt with:


The third chapter also contained the research procedures, including: the research community, its sample, and the nature of the method within it, and then the analysis of the sample, which amounted to (4) models. As for the fourth chapter, it contained the research results, conclusions, recommendations, proposals, and among the most important results



  • There are many methods and techniques used by the contemporary artist to draw inspiration from the Arabic letter in his artistic production, all of which aim to achieve the desired aesthetic dimensions and symbolic data, as well as enhancing communication with the recipient.
