Abstract

This research presents a summary and critical follow-up of sources and scholarly works—many of which have received limited attention—that discuss the religious rulings concerning work in the fields of drawing and sculpture. The researcher examines the intellectual and cultural transformations surrounding this debate, focusing on the underlying objectives and meanings of the prohibitive rulings rather than relying solely on the literal interpretations of textual evidence.


Through this approach, the study aims to balance scholarly authentication and contemporary renewal, offering an objective jurisprudential perspective on the legitimacy and reality of practicing drawing and figurative sculpture as a profession.
