- Introduction
The peer-review process is a cornerstone of academic publishing, ensuring the quality, integrity, and credibility of scholarly work.
Fnon Al-Rafidayn Journal adopts a double-blind peer review system to guarantee fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity throughout the evaluation process.
- Review Timeline
Reviewers are expected to submit their evaluation reports within four (4) weeks from the date of accepting the review invitation.
If additional time is required, reviewers should promptly inform the editorial board.

Reviewers are expected to:
- Provide objective, constructive, and evidence-based feedback.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript and review process.
- Respect the principles of double-blind peer review.
- Declare any potential conflicts of interest before accepting the review.
- Refrain from using or citing unpublished material from the manuscript.
- Avoid sharing the manuscript with third parties.
- Report any suspected plagiarism, duplication, or unethical conduct.
- Complete the review within the specified timeframe.
- Be willing to review revised versions of the manuscript when requested.
- Evaluation Principles
Reviewers should assess the manuscript based on the following principles:

- Methodological rigor and appropriateness
- Depth and validity of analysis and interpretation
- Logical coherence of results and conclusions
- Quality of academic writing and language
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
- Ethical Standards
Reviewers must ensure that the manuscript adheres to ethical research standards, including:
- Academic integrity and honesty
- Proper citation and referencing practices
- Absence of plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification
- Review Report
Reviewers are required to submit a structured report that includes:
- Comments to the Editor (confidential)
- Comments to the Author(s) (clear and constructive)
Providing written comments is mandatory, regardless of the final recommendation.
- Final Decision
Reviewers are requested to recommend one of the following decisions:
- Accept Submission
- Minor Revisions Required
- Major Revisions Required
- Reject Submission
The final decision rests with the editorial board.
- Certificate of Review
A formal Certificate of Appreciation will be issued to reviewers upon successful completion of the review process.
